At this point, the day shift guards are jeopardizing the security of the Embassy and its people. Rather
than focusing on the armed security of our people and facilities from a very real al-Shabaab threat, RSO
staff, Marines, and SPEAR are now preparing to assume guard posts because the guard force has let us
down. I am extremely disappointed and personally offended by their conduct.
