Dear Mr. Barnes:

As a result of recent activities directed towards me by you, included but not limited to
the attached threatening document, you are considered to present a clear and present
danger to this campus. Therefore, pursuant to Board of Regents' policy 1902, you are hereby
notified that you have been administratively withdrawn from Valdosta State University
effective May 7, 2007.

Provided that you satisfy any and all necessary academic requirements at that time of
application, your readmission to this University and continued enrollment at this institution
is conditioned upon your submitting the following:

1. A correspondence from a non-university appointed indicating that you
are not a danger to yourself and others.

2. Documentation from a certi?ed mental health professional indicating that during
your tenure at Valdosta State you will be receiving on-going therapy.

Generally, decisions of the University may be appealed to my of?ce. However,
because this matter directly concerns me, should you elect to appeal my decision, you should
submit your written appeal within twenty (20) days of receipt of this ietter to the Board of
Regents at the following address:
