CHARGE I: Violation of the UCMJ, Article 85?

SPECIFICATION. 1: In that Corporal Wassef A. HASSOUN, U.S. Marine Corps, II 
Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, did, on or about 19 June
2004, without authority and with intent to Shirk important service, namely: Service with
his unit at Camp Fallujah in Fallujah, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, quit
his unit, to wit: Human Exploitation Team 9, 2d Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment, 
Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, located at or near Camp Fallujah, Iraq,
and did remain so absent in desertion until on or about 8 July 2004.

SPECIFICATION 2: In that Corporal Wassef A. HASSOUN, U.S. Marine Corps, II

- Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, did, on or about 19 June
2004, without authority and with intent to avoid hazardous duty, namely: Service with
his unit at Camp Fallujah in Fallujah, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, quit
his unit, to wit: Human Exploitation Team 9, 2d Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment, 
Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, located at or near Camp alluj ah, Iraq,
and did remain so absent in desertion until on or about 8 July 2004. 

SPECIFICATION 3: In that Corporal Wassef A. HASSOUN, U.S. Marine Corps, II
Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, did, on or about 5 January
2005, without authority and with intent to remain away therefrom permanently, absent
himself from his unit, to wit: Headquarters Company, 4th Marine Expeditionary Brigade,
located at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and did remain so absent in desertion until on
or about 28 June 2014.

CHARGE II: Violation of the UCMJ, Article 103

SPECIFICATION: In that Corporal Wassef A. HASSOUN, U. S. Marine Corps, II
Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, did, at or near Camp
Fallujah, Iraq, between on or about 19 June 2004 and on or about 8 July 2004, without
proper authority willfully suffer a ?rearm, to wit: one (1) 9mm Beretta, military property
of the United States to be lost.

CHARGE Violation of the UCMJ, Article 121

SPECIFICATION: In that Corporal Wassef A. HASSOUN, U. S. Marine Corps, II
Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, did, at or near Camp
Fallujah, Iraq, on or about 19 June 2004, steal one (1) 9mm Beretta, military property of
some value, the property of the United States.
