Mr. Bains has also been reviewing vowels to reinforce his knowledge of the vowel sounds. Mr. Bains has a challenge differentiating between and in listening and speaking. Practice has been given on these sounds, but he still needs more practice to distinguish them. Mr. Bains can take part in short routine conversation about needs and familiar topics of personal relevance with supportive listeners and can communicate basic needs and personal experience. However, he has hesitations and pauses in his speaking. As for listening, Mr. Bains can follow questions related to personal experience and an expanded range of common daily instructions and requests related to the immediate context. Next month, he will continue to use the same textbook and practice more conversation about daily needs and experiences.
